DIRECTOR, EPIC REVENUE CYCLE SYSTEMS
The IS&T Epic Revenue Cycle Director is accountable and responsible for the portfolio of revenue cycle applications for TUHS and TUH, and manages the associated staff. This includes the delivery of daily production support, maintenance, optimizations and project work while maintaining and improving complex stakeholder engagements using a command of best practices and performance metrics while developing and driving our vision for the desired future state. In this role, you will effectively communicate and build relationships, internal and external, with customers to assess their needs, and design and implement Epic system solutions that meet or exceed specified desired results. The Director will be vital in driving transformation and the strategic evolution of the Epic electronic health record for the revenue cycle teams. They will also play a key role in implementing change in the department and across the Health System. Participates in the development and implementation of standards and procedures for TUH and TUHS policies, with the objective of performance improvement and quality control. Has contact and works with all levels of management and professional staff from the health system, School of Medicine, and other health organizations, and vendors.
Education
Masters Degree : related field. (Required)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience
10 Years experience in a related field, 5 of which are in a health care/hospital environment. (Required)
10 Years experience and demonstrated working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations (patient management, practice management, patient accounting, HIM) and regulations in both inpatient and ambulatory environments. (Required)
10 Years experience managing implementations and upgrades of revenue cycle applications in large healthcare delivery organizations. (Required)
7 Years experience in a leadership capacity (Required)
7 Years experience with full life cycle implementation with Epic Revenue Cycle products including Patient Management (Cadence, Prelude, Grand Central) along with HB, PB and HIM) (Preferred)
