We currently have an immediate need for a Director, Corporate Marketing & Demand Generation

SUMMARY

Aviat is looking for a Director of Corporate Marketing and Demand Generation to drive Aviat’s funnel and build demand for Aviat’s products and services globally. The Director will be responsible for marketing and communications as well as lead generation from all sources including events, online and digital marketing, and for building integrated marketing campaigns to drive demand. The chosen candidate will lead a small team and will make strategic and tactical decisions based on data and will be responsible to optimize discretionary marketing budget for maximum contribution to Aviat’s funnel, orders, revenue, and margin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and execute demand generation program to achieve funnel and revenue objectives
• Manage marketing budget to drive optimal lead generation performance
• Build campaigns and compelling thought leadership content to drive demand and enable sales teams
• Manage and make decisions on the marketing tech stack to optimize lead performance
• Transform Aviat’s corporate marketing function to be data driven - putting in place the infrastructure to capture and report on data and make investment decisions based on this information
• Work with strategic marketing and PLM teams to execute product launches that drive leads
• Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff, planning, and evaluating department activities. Develop and coach team members to establish an industry leading marketing competency

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Marketing, or Business Management. Master’s degree is desirable but not essential
• Minimum of 8 or more years of progressive management experience in product management or similar strategic marketing

Skills/Abilities:

• Strong leadership skills – we are looking for a world-class leader in this position
• Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to provide alternative solutions when needed
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Past experience leading corporate marketing or demand generation function is required
• Detailed knowledge of digital marketing concepts and past experience implementing digital marketing programs required
• Experience working in the microwave or other wireless transmission field is desirable. As is relevant work experience in IP communications technology, and software as a service (SaaS) offerings
• Experience working in or with mobile operators is preferred
• A genuine desire to drive product success and implement the goals of Aviat Networks
