Position Summary Summary:
The Dietary Aide Cashier works under the direction of the Food Service Café Manager to ensure that the employee cafeteria is operating according to department and hospital standards. The Dietary Aide Cashier demonstrates customer service skills while handling cash transactions and keeping the cafeteria clean and sanitary at all times. The food service and clinical programs provide services based on department standards for meal delivery, nutritional assessment and patient education. Qualifications Responsibilities:
Education Required

• Must complete in-house orientation program

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  

• Speaks, reads and writes English

• Previous food service experience and/or healthcare experience.
  

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn

• Requires standing in one position plus periods of movement, while working in high temperature area.
