Description: Our diesel technicians tackle new challenges each day. Diagnose and repair engines, exhaust systems, transmissions and other truck components utilizing the latest technologies. Successful technicians work closely with other team members to complete tasks safely and in accordance with GSFA standards.
Duties may include:
- Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions.
- Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts.
- Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines, and other associated parts.
- Completing oil changes, wheel balancing, alignments, and brake checks.
- Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance.

. Requirements:
- Diesel truck mechanic experience preferred.
- Have working knowledge of heavy, medium, and light duty trucks.
- Capable of working in a high-stress environment multi-tasking on a variety of jobs.
- Communicate with shop foreman, managers, and parts department on diagnostic information and the status of repairs.
- Work cooperatively with other team members.
- Willingness to work required schedule and travel to other locations as needed.
- Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License or ability to obtain.
- PA Inspection License or ability to obtain.
- Furnish own tools.
- Physical capability to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. Regularly lift and/or move 50 lbs. or more.
