RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair of suspension, driveline, steering components, brake system
- Install injectors, pistons, liners, camshafts, cylinder heads, rod and main bearings, oil pans, clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, and brakes, change or recharge batteries.
- Document all work performed and recommended repair orders
- Conduct road test to ensure vehicle as needed
- Adherence to all company and industry safety standards
- Ability to organize the work presented and plan for the highest efficiency and productivity in the performance of all job functions
- Continual training and development in support of individual career and company goals
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Vocational or technical certification on vehicle repairs
- 3+ years of experience working with diesel engines and heavy duty trucks
- Experience with repairing commercial vehicle trucks along with basic training in transmission and engine diagnostics.
- Ability to work with diagnostics computer for troubleshooting and repairs
- Must have your own toolset to perform assigned responsibilities
- Ability to obtain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
