Job Description
Oak Harbor Freight Lines is looking to hire a Trailer Mechanic to perform a variety of preventative maintenance tasks on our fleet of trailers. The postilion includes but is not limited to trailer door and body repairs, diagnosing and repairing trailer liftgate systems and working on trailer breaks and electrical systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair driver's written reports and verbal complaints about trailer.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Test equipment and systems for performance.
• Perform repairs to brakes and electrical systems.
• Replace parts.
• Document repairs

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, electrical, and ABS brake systems preferred.
• Experience with various hand tools preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical strength and stamina.
• Welding or fabrication experience (preferred)
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Valid driver license with good driving record
• CDL license is a plus
