Overview: This position is located in Magnolia, Arkansas
The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist produces radiographic images for medical interpretation as needed. When radiology tasks are not required, this position works under the direct supervision of the clinic nurse, physician or licensed provider by assisting in the examination and treatment of patients.

Salary offered commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:Radiology Duties
  • Producing radiographs for medical interpretation.
  • Entering information into Radiology Information System.
  • Processing Images in Computed Radiography System.
  • Reviewing Images in PACS System.
Patient Care
  • Collecting patient data, performing vital signs, and documenting information into the patient Electronic Medical Record.
  • Performing specimen collection, including phlebotomy, and preparing laboratory specimens for and/or performing laboratory analysis.
  • Performing electrocardiograms and transmitting recordings for analysis.
  • Setting up for and assisting the physician or licensed provider with procedures and examinations.
  • This position will collect patient data, measure vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and record information on patients' Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • The Radiology Tech will also draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis as well as obtain EKG’s. In addition, this position prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients and performs administrative tasks as assigned.
Other duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or Graduate from a 2 year certificate program certified by the ASRT in Radiology Technology.
  • Registered or eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and licensed by the State of Arkansas in Radiology Technology.
  • Ultrasound experience preferred.
