POSITION SUMMARY: Manages grant proposal projects, including community and opportunity assessments, for the assigned line of business. Manages relationships and communications with new and existing funders and community partners to develop and secure new funding opportunities for the assigned line of business. Collaborates with appropriate leaders to match opportunities to defined strategies. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Manages grant and proposal projects, including community and opportunity assessments, for the assigned line of business. 2. Manages relationships and communications with new and existing funders and community partners to develop new opportunities for the assigned line of business. 3. Contributes to strategy development for the line of business by writing development plans, cultivating relationships with partners, and taking part in program goal setting and corporate strategic planning activities. 4. Collaborates with corporate and local leadership to match opportunities to defined strategies. 5. Researches, prospects, identifies and qualifies funding opportunities for defined goals and strategies. 6. Conducts and analyzes in-depth research to define community needs for a variety of reports and assessments . 7. Writes, edits, and completes narrative and deliverables for grants and funding proposals in collaboration with field and corporate teams. 8. Prepares submission package according to funder guidelines and Telamon policy. 9. Creates reports to decision makers on funding opportunities and prospects. 10. Contributes to the marketing efforts for the assigned line of business. 11. Presents information about Telamon’s programs and growth priorities to external and internal audiences. Represents Telamon at public meetings, hearings, and forums related to funding opportunities and program growth. 12. Conducts site visits to state and field offices. 13. Perform all other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no direct supervisory duties but is expected to train or explain work procedures to others.
