This position will be responsible for communicating to our families, donors and Alumni the mission of Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools. This position will also coordinate the O’Gorman High School Athletic Boosters, the Knight Locker and assist with all system wide events.
- Promote the mission of Bishop O†Gorman Catholic Schools
- COMMUNICATION
- Effectively communicate Bishop O†Gorman Catholic Schools message to our internal and external community
- Produce and write stories for publications, social medica and website
- Review/proof/edit all publications and marketing materials
- Assist with the design, writing and execution of print materials and other marketing projects
- ALUMNI
- Contact for all alumni
- Gather Hall of Fame nominations and lead committee meeting
- Plan and coordinate Hall of Fame
- Maintain social media for the OGHS Alumni page
- Coordinate and fundraise for the 10x12 and Go Give OG Alumni campaigns
- Assist with class reunions by offering information and advice
- Coordinate Cathedral High School all school reunions every three years
- Coordinate regional reunions (every other year)
- Welcome new Alumni at the Senior Awards Mass celebration
- ATHLETIC BOOSTERS:
- All sports kickoff
- Tailgate for Homecoming game
- Plan the Knights 5K run
- Plan the Golf Classic Event
- Assist with Hoop Shoots at home boys’ and girls’ basketball games
- Order, promote and sell athletic booster passes
- Prepare Booster agenda prior to monthly meetings and oversee the meetings
- Maintain the Boosters Facebook page
- Create Fall Sports schedules, Winter Sports Program and Winter/Spring Sports schedule
- KNIGHT LOCKER:
- Oversee daily duties of the physical store and online store
- Process deposits, stock inventory and run sales reports
- Order merchandise and create new designs
- Organize pop up shops during school and system events
- Online Store- Keep items up to date on the store website
- DEVELOPMENT EVENTS:
- Assist the Director of Development in planning and executing the Bob Burns Dakota Bowl. Organize football camp registrations and t-shirts. Help coordinate Dakota Bowl Activities on the day of event.
- Assist in the planning of the Extravaganza including the silent and live auction. Responsible for taking reservations prior to and during event. Assist with set-up and tear-down of the event.
- Opening Knighter: mailings, billings and assist the Marketing/Communications Specialist with the final publication
- Connections Business Directory: mailings, billings and layout of publication
- Maintain the database of constituents and Alumni through the donor management software
- Assists in counting Gift Card Inventory when needed
- Assist with Foundation events

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
