GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION Responsible for the day to day operations of the Deposit Operations Department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Manages full-time and part-time personnel. This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time. 2. Ensure timely and accurate completion of various day two bookkeeping functions. This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time. 3. Performs annual due diligence and remittance on abandoned properties. This duty is performed annually, about 50% of the time. 4. Performs weekly backup withholding submission. This duty is performed weekly, about 20% of the time. 5. Submission of the monthly interest on trust accounts/interest on lawyer trust accounts reporting. This duty is performed monthly, about 10% of the time. 6. Quality control for CD interest and Club check processing. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time. 7. Process Special Statement Request. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time. 8. Monitor ticket queue to ensure all requests are being handled in a timely manner. This duty is performed daily, about 15% of the time. 9. Must have the ability and knowledge to backup all positions within the department. This duty is performed as needed, about 10% of the time. 10. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. This duty is performed as needed, about 10% of the time. 11. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. 12. Completes Required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned. This duty is performed as needed, about 15% of the time. 13. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 4 years related experience and/or training, and 2 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
