Overview:
The Department Asst is responsible for imaging exam order entry through hospital computer system,receiving patients for different modality exams, navigating hospital PACS system, directing multiple phone calls to appropriate location efficiently, scheduling patients for imaging exams when physician orders are telephoned, faxed, or brought in by the patient, communicating with physician office and hospital staff in a courteous manner.
Qualifications:
HS/GED Basic medical terminology preferred.
