Under moderate direction of the Central Services Supervisor and Office Manager, the CSP Dental Technician sterilizes and assembles equipment, supplies and procedure trays, in the department according to established procedures. Check levels and delivers supplies to the Dental Center and Central Services . Position may require working at either campus or alternate sites. Responsibilities: Ensures proper decontamination of surgical instruments, syringes, needles and equipment in order to clean, identify and inspect. Ensures proper assembly and packaging of instrument sets to allow steam penetration and sterilization. Monitors the work flow to ensure the completion of work assignments. Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Contributes to the efficient operation of the department.
