We are LIC Dental Associates, a private boutique FFS practice in beautiful Long Island City. We have been helping the residents of LIC smile confidentially for the past 7 years! We are a highly specialized dental practice consisting of 6 doctors (3 specialist and 3 general dentist). Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of experience in a dental / medical setting - Friendly & professional demeanor - Customer-service experience - Organizational skills- strong attention to detail - Ability to create systems such as filing systems, patient flow plans, and more - Familiar with dental terminology, insurance, and dental codes - Desire to grow your career in dentistry- willingness to go above and beyond for our patients - At least two year experience with dental office front desk duties Responsibilities: - Perform all check-in and check-out tasks, including payment collections - Manage online and phone reservations - Inform patients about payment methods and verify their credit card data - Welcome patients upon their arrival and escort to treatment rooms - Provide information about our practice, available services and amenities - Knowledge of dental insurance plans and CDT codes - Knowledge of third party financing companies such as care credit - Knowledge of dentistry and treatment planning - Confidentially discuss finances with patients - Present treatment plans and finances to patients - Insurance verification and claims processing - Respond to patients complaints in a timely and professional manner Our office is a positive and friendly environment, and we're looking for someone to help us maintain this feeling.
