As an Assistant Demand and Inventory Planner you will be responsible for Omni Channel Demand Forecasting, Vendor Collaboration, Store & DC Replenishment, and Allocations that generate high sales, profit and inventory turnover. Owns the inventory plan in partnership with our COO, VP’s of Sales, and Data/Operations Team. Accountable for managing inventory in the distribution network to support Store & Digital channel achieving targeted service level, In-stock Rate, Inventory Turnover, Forecast Accuracy, and financial performance KPI’s. Accountable for ordering from suppliers into the distribution network to support demand. Partner with the vendor community to optimize lead times and order cycles. Accountable for end-of-life inventory management. Identifies opportunities in unproductive inventory strategies to increase turn to meet or exceed plan. Address supply chain and vendor lead-time opportunities and constraints. Participate in the development of merchandise plans and strategies. Requirements: 1-3 years work experience in retail planning, buying or merchandising require Strong problem solving and analytical skills Strong Microsoft Excel skills required (Queries, data connections, pivot tables, v-lookups). Advanced business knowledge of retail and merchandising concepts. Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with multiple levels within a large organization. Bachelors' degree in retail, marketing or finance preferred.
