JOB SUMMARY
Guides, assists and supports coworkers and performs repetitive assembly operations. Installs decorative material on production unit surfaces as defined by customer specifications and approved engineering drawings. Must be able to work within the time constraints of the master production schedule and meet requirements dictated by the customer.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES - Essential Functions (Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)

- Promotes cooperation and positive communication with coworkers
- Ensures material and adhesives being used are specific to approved work orders and/or engineering specifications
- Maintains safe and effective use of all hand tools and heat guns as well as a safe work environment
- Must always be cognizant of sharps being used and maintains proper cutting or trimming techniques
- Accurately measures & computes quantity and size of material required to cover applicable surface area
- Validates area to be covered is smooth and free of defects before adhesive and material is applied
- Applies glue to panels and is cognizant of required cure times
- Ensures applied material is orientated in the correct direction and seams match as required
- Repairs or replaces damaged decor and removes all excess glue and scuff marks from panels
- Smooths decorative material with brush, roller or by hand to remove wrinkles and/or bubbles
- Smooths joints with roller and trims excess material as required
- Cuts and/or trims decorative material to ensure proper form and fit
- Wraps decorative material around edges as required
- Cleans and prepares surface for final inspection
- Reports any defect to quality assurance and manufacturing engineers
- Exhibits all effort required to ensure first time quality
- Prepares and organizes tools and materials for use in the area
- Understands production schedule and ensures work is completed on time to meet company objectives & customer demands
- Tasks can vary as different units complete certain phases of production
- Follows-up and completes work on inspection non-conformities in a timely manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience
