THE POSITION If you enjoy working in a beautiful scenic environment, working outdoors and in law enforcement, working with the public while providing a service, being a respected role model, and where no two days are alike, then Yellow Creek State Park may be the place for you. The complex is hiring a NON-PERMANENT, SEASONAL, FULL-TIME position to provide the public a safe enjoyable environment for recreation and relaxation. The selected candidate for this position is required to successfully complete a Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal, and Federal Criminal History Check prior to the formal offer and upon appointment in the position every 5 years.
The position performs duties that are routinely executed seven days per week and will be scheduled to work weekends, evenings, and holidays according to the needs of park operations. There are no benefits.
This position is being posted for the 2021 season, which runs approximately from April to November. Season lengths may differ based on operational needs.
