Job brief Window Production Assembler builds and constructs windows, patio doors, screens, etc. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. You will use your hands, hand tools and machines to do the job with greater precision. All assemblers will have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Ability to read instructions and follow instructions, drawings, schematics, batch reports, tape measures etc. and follow them with precision is essential to maintaining this position. The goal is to produce high quality, well-constructed, energy efficient windows and doors while maintaining excellent quality control and optimum output of product. Responsibilities · Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures · Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process · Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components · Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications · Align material and put together parts to build more complex units · Check output to ensure highest quality · Maintain equipment in good condition · Keep records of production quantities and time · Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts Requirements · Technical knowledge and ability to read drawings etc. · Ability in using tools (e.g. clamps, chisels, tape measures) and machines (e.g. welders, saws, bending equipment, cleaners) · Good understanding of quality control principles · Good communication skills (verbal and written) · Strong commitment to maintaining safety within the work environment · Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition · High school diploma Preferred · Good Attitude Required · Work Safety Required Manufacturing General labor Assembly laborer Associate production worker Hiring immediately!
