Ideal Candidate
Ensure that Data Center systems and environments are operating faultlessly. Identify, log, and report issues to proper personnel. Utilize application tools such as ASG Cypress report distributer, Smartsheet, and ASG Zena processing scheduler.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Perform level 1 support and resolution for all batch abends, printing reports, distributing reports, process/task scheduling, and route to appropriate entities.
- Build and create forms, checklists, logs, and instructions by using Smartsheet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Answer phone and interact with customers.
- Identifies, resolves, or refers problems for all systems hardware, software and online applications to appropriate support groups.
- Escalate problems that cannot be resolved through standard operating procedures to the appropriate support group for resolution.
- Reports problems to DCO Management per documented escalation procedures.
Experience and Skills You'll Need to Have
- High school diploma.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to cooperate as a team member, and to follow instructions.
- Desire to learn and cultivate new skills driven by initiative and innovation.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule that can include nights, weekends, rotating scheduled days, and holidays
- Some, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint experience desired.
- 2+ years' experience operating in datacenter/IT environment. (Preferred)
- Ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task. (Attention to detail)
- Ability to document procedures as demonstrated by previous experience.
- Ability to use ASG Cypress Report distribution software.
- Ability to use ASG Zena scheduling system to monitor and control processing.
- Ability to use Smartsheet to collaborate, manage, and report on work in real time, automate workflows, and deploy new procedures. (A plus)
- Ability to work with Xerox D125 page printers.
- Some Windows and Unix experience.
- Ability to document procedures as demonstrated by previous experience. (Documentation assembly)
