ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Candidate should be a capable Database Specialist able to modify an existing PostgreSQL/PostGIS geospatial database that contains wildlife data for long-term storage and efficient retrieval of American Crocodile data. We are seeking a team member to work directly with federal scientists, and the project managers to modify this database and the associated front-end (web-based) tools for data entry and access. The position will also work collaboratively with university scientists and natural resource managers. SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY N/A. Will defer to the CNSS Program Manager and CNT Site Lead, may coordinate with client representative (Task Order Manager) EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE A relevant undergraduate degree will be preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Use of custom SQL database and proficiency with pgAdmin, R, and RStudio is required. Experience with Shiny app is preferred.
