Position Summary Role and Responsibilities As a data engineer on the Data Solutions team, you will be responsible for managing Samsung’s DataLake and Cloud computing environment. Our mission is to provide a world class data platform, which is used by thousands of engineers to discover insights and drive improvement on key factory outcomes such as yield, output, and cost reduction. We play a role in every aspect of the data lifecycle (virtualization, discoverability, storage, and governance) as well as providing a powerful computational environment for end users using primarily open source technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong desire to be part of a highly technical team with and an interest in managing physical and virtualized infrastructure and applications and passion for empowering others.
