How you can make a differenceWith general direction and considerable latitude for independent judgment and discretion, this position is responsible for the research and resolution of client facing issues. Executes recurring scripts and packages to resolve data issues and can write intermediate SQL queries to identify data issues. Works with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and identify trends and solutions for recurring problems. Leverages monitoring solutions to drive resolution and escalation of at risk SLA’s. Assigned projects, development opportunities, and other tasks as needed.

Understands file specifications and data flows to troubleshoot any exceptions and can work with vendors or clients to resolve issues.

What you will need to be successfulEDUCATION: Knowledge of business and technology as normally obtained through the completion of an Associates degree in CS/Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK EXPERIENCE OR RELATED EXPERIENCE: The ability and skill obtained through a minimum of 1-2 years experience in troubleshooting and intermediate problem solving in a client facing environment. The ability to support Data Management and monitoring with specific experience in querying large datasets and analyzing stored procedures and packages. Experience should include beginner to intermediate skills with SQL to include linking multiple tables, grouping, unions, loops, cursors, etc.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
EQUIPMENT: Proficiency with business and communications software (MS Office Suite) is required. Prior experience with a querying tool such as Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio or TOAD Solutions is required. Advanced hands-on knowledge of Excel and a text editing tool (such as Ultra Edit, Notepad++, etc.) is required
