Joining the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) means being part of the team focused on securing the Nation's physical and cyber infrastructure against threats to public health and safety, economy, and national security. Basic Requirement:
Have a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in mathematics, statistics, or actuarial science. The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position.

Have a combination of education and experience. This includes courses equivalent to a major field of study as shown in paragraph above, plus additional education or appropriate experience.
Specialized Experience:
You qualify for the GS-14 grade level (starting salary $122,530.00) if you possess one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level performing the following duties:
You qualify for the GS-15 grade level (starting salary $144,128.00) if you possess one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level performing the following duties:
National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
