What you will be doing

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Security Policies: Comply with HIPAA, Medicare, PHI, and FIS Global Corporate Compliance regulations, complete any compliance training courses in the required timeframe.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding equipment and facilities.
  • Dedication to job performance that contributes to company and client mission and goals in a positive and acceptable manner
  • Maintain Productivity, Accuracy, and speed targets to meet client SLA’s
  • Follow the guidelines and instructions of senior mentors, team leads, supervisors and manager in regard to department policies and expectations
  • Enter time into timekeeping system accurately adhering to payroll deadlines
  • Quality: Meet or exceed 99.5% average keying accuracy
  • Productivity: Maintain 80+% productivity
  • Speed / Throughput: Meet and exceed minimum transaction speeds: 11,000 keystrokes and claims per hour equivalent
  • Maintain target mailroom productivity and scan accuracy as needed for mailroom duties
  • Ensure daily mail volume is prepped, batched, sorted and scanned within 24-48 hours of receipt (dependent on client SLA).
  • Perform daily self and peer QA for correct batching and scan quality. Less than 10 errors per month is ideal to achieve expectations

EDUCATION

High school diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven ability to type with accuracy
  • Experience scanning documents
  • Previous healthcare data claims experience, a plus!
  • Attention to Detail
  • Knowledge to operate a computer efficiently and utilize software packages
  • Must present a positive and professional attitude at all times
  • Must be able to work independently and communicate effectively
  • Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions, producing desired results
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed and as requested by the leadership team
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and be able to lift at least 35 lbs.
