Summary: Responsible for accurate entry of data into computer system, filing, answering telephones and providing general clerical support to assigned department. Other assignments might include rating and/or customer service functions as needed. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Enter data from source documents into computer.
- Gather information for input and update reports.
- Log and file source documents.
- Answer phone and assist callers.
- Perform various clerical duties including filing, photocopying, sorting and mailing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- PC literate. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications. Accurate typing skills and/or data entry skills.
- Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds and effectively presenting information one-on-one or in small group situations.
- Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs.
- Ability to read, comprehend and write basic correspondence.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Balances team and individual responsibilities.
- Consistently at work and on time.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Minimum:
- High School Degree or GED.
- One to three years related experience.
Preferred:
- Minimum one year industry experience.
