We believe that the future of food lies in empowering thriving, localized food economies that benefit the health of the people, the planet, and the communities around us.

We are looking for a smart, skilled and creative Data Analytics Manager who wants to join a dynamic, leading company as a key team member. The Data Analytics Manager is skilled in deriving insights from raw data and for delivering key insights via reports and analyses to drive and support data-driven decision-making. This is a strategic and tactical (i.e., hands-on) role that requires someone who cannot only access data and generate reports, but also provide actionable insights to departments across the company, with finance, marketing and product being the primary stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES (WIP)

  • Own and build a company wide analytics and business intelligence strategy that effectively scales as we grow as a business
  • Build and automate executive and departmental reporting and dashboards to effectively measure company KPI's and identify patterns, trends, risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate with Finance to support predictive sales forecasting, marketing spend and funnel optimization, ad hoc reporting and overall company data management
  • Develop a deep understanding of the digital product to effectively identify and address critical issues related to product adoption, user behavior and lifetime value (LTV)
  • Support Operations team in creating a more efficient supply chain through analyses focused on demand forecasting, inventory management, fulfillment and logistics
  • Utilize data to help Marketing create more effective brand awareness and storytelling around Lettuce Grow's sustainability impact
  • Partner with the Technology teams to constantly improve the company's data architecture foundation and ensure the appropriate systems and tools are in place.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or related field
  • Bachelor's Degree, ideally in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science
  • SQL expert; you must have a deep understanding of query optimization and efficient data set joins
  • Hands-on experience with high-growth ecommerce or recurring businesses creating reports, projections, models, and presentations
  • Ability to manipulate and interpret data to produce actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the company
  • Deep understanding of KPI's, sales metrics, marketing attribution/analysis, funnel metrics, business case development, performance, statistics and trends
  • Detail oriented with genuine concern for maintaining high levels of accuracy, integrity, process consistency and documentation to ensure people across the company trust the data and recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to turn data into an actionable story
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects while still achieving deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
