Job Summary:

The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for performing all functions necessary to maintain accurate inventory, by cycle counting, performing other miscellaneous audits and investigation of count discrepancies. This position requires a strong reliance on count accuracy, process control, product monitoring, movement coordination and reporting in order to control inventory.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform cycle counts and miscellaneous inventory audits to ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy
  • Ensure products are in proper locations, conduct searches to locate missing inventory
  • Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory
  • Research and perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements
  • Conduct third party vendor audits to agree quantity and part number for received material
  • Execute assignments accurately and timely in a safe manner
  • Prepare various reports relative to the cycle counting process
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven time management skills; work overtime as needed to meet deadlines
  • Excellent math and analytical skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication
  • Understanding of basic inventory control procedures
  • Good work attendance record required
  • Computer experience in Microsoft Excel is desired
  • Knowledge of SAP WMS preferred
  • Ability to use all warehouse equipment
  • Requires High School Diploma or equivalent
  • High Attention to detail
  • Strong independent worker
  • Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Adhere to all company policies, housekeeping and safety procedures and guidelines
