Cybersecurity Engineers develop strategy, vision, and direction to align systems with organization cybersecurity
initiatives and regulatory compliance related to attacks on combat system software, infrastructure, and
networks. They assist the Navy protect computer and networking systems from potential hackers and cyberattacks. They safeguard sensitive Navy data and processing from cyber-related attempts to infiltrate, exfiltrate,
modify, or crash mission-critical databases and combat-related processing capabilities.
