Recro is looking for a motivated, career and customer oriented Cyber Security Engineer SME to join our team in Chantilly, VA. Clearance Responsibilities Performs as the technical expert. Manages projects developing software or systems engineering supporting Cyber focused development. Familiar with multiple development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, TDD, waterfall). Tasks may include Graphical User Interfaces (GUI's), middleware, data transformations, statistical and big data analysis. Expert in multiple programming languages to include Java, Django, Python, Drupal, or other high-level language development or database management. Responsible for server-side applications required for supported functions (e.g. Apache, MySQL). Able to design end-to-end data systems. Communicates status with leadership and customers. Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects. Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations. Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines. Answers technical questions regarding products and services, and may take part in putting together proposals, configurations, and product offerings. Considered a Lead and may manage the work of others. Desired Experience Linux expertise AWS expertise Ansible expertise (other configuration management tools like Puppet or Chef) Cyber SME (for analytics/ML) Data engineering Familiarity with Elastic Stack, Kafka, K8s Knowledge of GitLab, containers, DevOps pipelines Bachelors Degree with 10 years or 12 years total experience IAT Level II Certification or willing to obtain within the first 6 months Working at Recro; Important Information:
