To fuel that growth, we have another exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative – Personal Lines with Kemner, Iott, Benz, an Acrisure Agency Partner located in Cassopolis, Michigan

The Customer Service Representative is the primary contact for clients and responsible for providing effective customer service for personal lines customers by using excellent in-depth knowledge of the company’s insurance products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Properly respond to all customer requests in a professional and courteous manner and on a timely basis
• Initiate endorsements and other policy changes for customers
• Process and transmit (via fax, email, or mail) necessary information to clients and brokers such as ID Cards, DEC pages, applications, quotes, etc
• Assist applicants and brokers with completion of the application and required forms
• Assist underwriting team to obtain information from clients and broker
• Escalate customer service issues to management as needed
• Assist with special projects
• Provide assistance to clients to answer question and resolve issues, including billing questions and policy changes
• Actively look to round out accounts by referring other value-added services
• Review and re-write current accounts to carriers that will better fit the client’s needs
• Maintain client information and files, including communication and activities in the agency management system
• Keep abreast of changes in carrier plans and policies
• Continue education as needed
• Build relationships with clients, carriers, and agents

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or recognized equivalent is required
• Property & Casualty Producer’s License preferred, but not required

Computer Skills:

• Basic PC skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Agency Management System experience preferred but not required

Other Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
• Must possess excellent organization skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
