Position Summary:

Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department, and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Essential Job Functions:
- Promote trust and respect among associates.
- Bag groceries efficiently and effectively.
- Assist the cashier and customers in removing/placing merchandise inside of and from the bottom of the cart.
- Provide great customer service.
- Retrieve bascarts from the parking lot and cart corral.
- Clean restrooms and other areas of the store.
- Empty trash and recycle bins.
- Promote any current charitable promotions.
- Understand and follow the company guidelines on B.O.B.
- Understand and adhere to shrink guidelines as relating to the Front End Operations.
- Strive to achieve Company's item per bag guidelines.
- Conduct efficient and effective price checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold throughout the store.
- Display a positive attitude.
- Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.
- Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repair.
- Notify management of customer or employee accidents.
- Report all safety risks or issues, and illegal activity, including: robbery, theft or fraud.

Minimum Position/Education Qualifications:
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
