HERFF JONES, Customer Experience Support Intern – Indianapolis, INYour Opportunity:The Herff Jones Customer Experience team is looking for rising Junior or Senior college students or recent college graduates to join our team in Indianapolis, IN for the summer. The Customer Experience Support team member will receive front-line customer service and systems experience while supporting students, school administrators and our internal sales team with regalia inquiries and support. Impacted by the recent pandemic, this role will focus on providing accurate information using existing systems and newly developed processes to be responsive to all our customer segments. Here's How You’ll Make an Impact:The primary focus of the Customer Experience Intern will be on providing order information, shipping status, and refund status while communicating with the brand message and the utmost care and empathy. In the current environment, students and schools are eager to celebrate achievement and the Herff Jones Customer Experience team is the first point of contact for many to find information and support. Team members can expect to receive training on the systems and processes to respond through channels such as phone, email or social media. However, we expect candidates will be excited to bring already existing levels of professionalism, problem-solving skills and energy to the role. Sharing messaging in a positive and warm communication style will be pivotal to the role. In addition, we look for technically curious individuals that will be interested in learning our new customer engagement systems and assisting managers in the department by creating training and job aides. What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • Proven success to effectively communicate (listening, writing and verbal) to meet product delivery details with emphasis on empathy, kindness and brand voice
  • Moderate skills with Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel) and open to learning new systems/technology with understanding some work is processed manually
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple processes and tasks at a time with strong organizational and detail skill
  • A positive attitude with being comfortable with ambiguity and change with a focus on gaining business skill to grow professionally
  • An understanding and appreciation of college student challenges and the importance of achievement
