Find your purpose in the fight against COVID-19! Get patients the answers they need help reduce the impact of the global pandemic. Temporary Full-time 72 hrs/pp; 7:30am - 8:00pm, every other weekend The work performed in this role doesn't just help the patients you see: It helps their families, other loved ones, and our communities. The specimens you'll collect are sent to a lab and the results are shared with patients. Those results are combined to inform healthcare leaders in our communities, throughout Minnesota and at federal agencies. You'll help guide patients through the testing process by verifying who they are and telling them what to expect during the collection. You'll then collect the specimen and provide patients with educational materials about next steps they should take and expect from us. OR
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
OR
Associate degree from an accredited Clinical/Medical Laboratory Technician (CLT / MLT) program or other qualifications as outlined by CLIA regulation, section 493.1489 for employees hired before September 1, 1997. New Graduate's degree must be validated within 2 months post-graduation.
OR
Current licensure as a licensed practical nurse in the State of Minnesota
OR
ASCP-BOC certified within 6 months with first exam completed within 3 months of hire, with certification verified within six weeks of exam.
