JOB SUMMARY
Fell? Cannabis is seeking a Cultivation Agent to join our facility. The Cultivation Agent is responsible for providing on-site cultivation for one or more medical and adult use cannabis greenhouses. The main responsibilities include; completing tasks assigned by the Cultivation Team Lead & or supervisor to monitor and maintain plant production and health; maintain quality control measures to ensure high quality product; maintain organization, cleanliness and efficiency of the production area; carry out day-to-day plant care including trellising, skirting, defoliation, transplanting, moving plants, harvesting plants, daily cleaning tasks as well as monitoring and maintaining plant production and quality control measures in accordance with the standard operating procedures set by Fell? Cannabis.

CORE JOB DUTIES
Plant Care:
-Trellising plants in a grid like fashion to support and anchor growth
-Skirting or removing bottom portions of stems and leaves on the plants to direct growth and energy
-Defoliation or removing large fan leaves from the plant to provide adequate light penetration and air circulation
-Plant training including bending, spreading, supercropping, etc.
-Topping and pruning to direct growth of the plant
-Transplanting plants into larger media containers to support higher levels of growth

Facility Cleaning:
-Perform all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe cultivation facility
-Responsible for the cleanliness of all cultivation equipment and tools including pruners, sheers, totes, scales, stools, ladders, benches, walls, fans, etc.
-Organize cultivation tools, equipment, supplies, and spaces to maintain a proper 5S facility.
-Clean & sanitize greenhouse bays both continuously and in between harvest cycles

Reports and Documentation:
-Report quality related issues to Director of Cultivation
-Ensure accurate documentation of all plant related activities

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• History working in agriculture or food production facility preferred
• Understanding of basic principles relating to quality control measures
• Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift equipment or plants up to 50 lbs. for extended periods
• Ability to work in hot conditions in summer reaching more than 90 degrees
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment

• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply

• Must maintain strict personal hygiene protocols
• Must follow strict PPE guidelines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.50 per hour
