Description Come join us at Swift Creek Emergency Center! Swift Creek is a satellite emergency room of CJW Medical Center opened in early 2016. It is conveniently located in the Hancock Village Shopping Center in Chesterfield, Virginia and is staffed with board-certified emergency room physicians and nurses 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Swift Creek has 12 bed capacity and averages about 50 patients a day. We are known for our team oriented culture, high engagement and patient satisfaction. The CT/Radiology Technologist performs quality diagnostic procedures in an accurate and timely fashion. He/she operates CT and X-ray equipment and operates PACS as required. He/She prepares CT and Radiology room, equipment, supplies and medication as indicated for the procedure/exam being performed. He/she practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams and ensures his/her direct reports and other staff members follow the same precautions. The CT/ Radiology Technologist maintains a safe environment for patients, co-workers and visitors and supports and helps achieve the departmental and hospital goals. EDUCATION
REQUIRED: Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology. Responsible for continuing education credits as mandated by the ARRT for licensure
