Employment Type : Full-Time

Responsible to spray complete weed, grass and brush control at railroad crossings.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Sprays complete weed, grass and brush control at railroad crossings
  
• Assists with all daily routing and scheduling
• Assists with all daily tank mixing
• Conducts truck inspections (responsible for truck / spray system maintenance and repairs)
• Maintains all tools and equipment on board, including repair kits for on the road repairs
• Makes repairs as needed
  
• Ensures all equipment is in working order, such as water suck pumps, chemical injection equipment, computer, etc.
• Calibrates spray equipment
• Performs daily/weekly record keeping as needed
• Drives company vehicles
• Uses all equipment safely
• Performs other duties as assigned

• 21+ years of age or older
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to lift 50-60 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Ability to travel for up to four (4) weeks at a time
• A Commercial Pesticide Applicators License is preferred

• Possesses a basic understanding of weed, grass, and brush types

• Possesses a basic understanding of application methods and equipment
• Possesses a basic understanding of calibration and spray patterns
