Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing & Communications, this position is responsible for visual brand development and management of creative concepts, design and execution of all digital, interactive and print marketing and communications, as well as providing hands-on user interface (UI), web and creative design/art direction, as distinct projects or part of overall integrated marketing and communications initiatives to advance the organization’s mission and business goals.

Location: This position can be fully remote but preference will be given to those located near one of our service areas.

Essential Job Functions

  • In partnership with internal stakeholders, under the direction of the Vice President, develops, implements and manages high-impact creative brand development and design, whether as distinct design projects or part of overall integrated plans.
  • Develops creative concepts, articulates creative ideas and design decisions, selects and manages imagery, and manages the creative/design process to fulfillment, ensuring adherence to visual brand standards in all marketing and communications.
  • Develops or oversees design of, or approves, branded digital/print marketing, advertising and communications including but not limited to website, email/digital marketing, multimedia and video, photography and imagery, event collateral, tradeshow displays, digital/print banners, print materials, products, social media graphics and presentation decks.
  • Develops and maintains visual brand standards, templates and tools ensuring adherence and consistency for effectively representing the Eversight brand in all Eversight digital and print communications developed throughout Eversight and by external vendors and stakeholders.
  • Provides art/creative direction and management in researching, identifying, selecting and coordinating the work of external/freelance creative and production vendors, including designers, photographers, videographers, web/digital developers, printers, mail houses, display companies, product vendors and others in producing deliverables that adhere to Eversight brand and quality standards.
  • Develops and maintains web and digital platform design that optimizes user experience and visual impact. Produces web development-ready files, mock-ups, wireframes, and digital assets for developers. Leads design creation of user-friendly visuals and ensures on-brand user interface (UI) on related platforms with intuitive design flows in close collaboration with Marketing & Communications team and external vendors.
  • Manages company/internal stakeholder access to approved marketing and communications collateral, brand guidance and approved photography/imagery. Maintains department files/archive of designed collateral, photos/imagery and creative projects.
  • Develops, updates and manages a creative delivery schedule to align with important launch dates for key projects. Ensures all creative is delivered to required schedules and deadlines. Provides guidance, troubleshooting and support for peers and leadership throughout project implementation to ensure outcomes and on-time, on-budget completion.
  • Builds and sustains strong, effective relationships with depth and understanding to deliver effective consultation in assessing needs and determining project direction with internal stakeholders and Vice President and the Marketing & Communications team.
  • Audits, analyzes and adapts all activities to continually improve efficiency, effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Maintains current knowledge of industry trends and stays up-to-date with professional and technical knowledge, particularly in user interface (UI), digital, and print design and best practices.

Qualifications

Education: Undergraduate degree in graphic design or related field preferred

Experience: 5-7 years of experience in professional branding, creative design management, web/user interface (UI) design, digital/print design, email marketing, photography and print and video production, as well as project management and art direction.

Skills: Strong creative conceptualization, graphic design and typography skills across a wide range of digital and print mediums, as well as art and photography direction. Proven oral and written communications skills, project management including budget and vendor management, and managing relationships and workflow among teams including leadership and peers. Adept with multiple marketing, communications, project management and social media software and platforms. Highly skilled in Adobe Creative suite and asset management and content management software and programs.

Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of brand and design principles and application, user interface (UI), and integrated marketing/communications best practices. Applied knowledge and experience with web and email/digital marketing software and platforms, project management software/systems, content management systems (CMS), web publishing and blog management; and social media software and platforms.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Work is primarily performed in a normal office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time and may be required to stoop, stand or twist. Some travel may be required. Lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required. Routine use of computer. Limited noise, room temperature fluctuation and dust are possible. Use of personal vehicle may be required when traveling within the service area.
