This position will be 20-30 hours a week. Must be available between 9am to 7pm – Hours would either be 9-2 or 12-7pm and will work every other weekend.
SUMMARY:
The Front Desk COVID-19 Screener is responsible for providing general non-certified screening of personnel and visitors as mandated by federal and state requirements, primarily related to COVID-19.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - Administer COVID-19 screening questionnaire to each employee and/or visitor.
- Screen employee and/or visitor temperatures using non-contact infrared thermometers.
- Screen employee and/or visitor O2 SATS and Pulse using Pulse Oximeter.
- Ensure all employees and/or visitors entering the building are screened.
- Ensure all employees and/or visitors are utilizing face masks as required upon entering building.
- Ensure all employees and/or visitors are washing or sanitizing hands per infection prevention protocol.
- Maintain a detailed log of daily screenings.
- Sanitization of screening station per infection prevention protocol.
- Answer company phones as need arises.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in reading, writing, and following written and oral instructions.
- Preferred one (1) years’ experience working in the field of residential care, childcare or senior care.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving with a high level of frequency during work hours. Lifts, up to twenty (20) lbs. constantly, thirty-five (35) lbs. frequently and fifty (50) lbs. occasionally. Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure requirements of the position can be fully met.
