We are looking for a fit and attentive Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, staff, and visitors.

The Security Guard is responsible for recording the names of visitors, patrolling the property, setting up security controls, monitoring property access, investigating suspicious behavior, and enforcing company policies. To be successful as a Security Guard you must be alert and professional.

A good Security Guard is aware of all visitors to the property and ensures that no inappropriate actions take place. The qualified candidate should be highly observant and able to assess the severity of a situation and should be able to remain calm and decisive in any situation.

Schedule:

• Saturday and Sunday.
• 5.30 PM- 1.30 AM.
• $20/hr.

• Ensure that guests sign in upon arrival and exit.
• Make guests aware of rules that must be adhered to.
• Remove trespassers or unwanted individuals from the property.
• Contact the relevant authorities if a crime is committed or an accident occurs.
• Report to supervisors on a regular basis.
• Record any suspicious activities to the supervisor.

• A high school qualification or equivalent.
• Valid security license required.
• Prior experience as a Security Guard preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Outstanding surveillance and observation skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to exercise good judgment.
• Strong reporting skills.
• Working knowledge of public safety, security operations, and procedures.
