As the Correctional Lieutenant, you will be responsible for work involving the supervision of offenders in a correctional facility. You will maintain the security of the facility as well as the safety of staff and offenders while ensuring daily activities and programs proceed on schedule. The Correctional Lieutenant supervises Correctional Sergeants and Correctional Officers on an assigned shift in an assigned area under the general supervision of a Correctional Captain. About Miami Correctional Facility:
Miami Correctional Facility is located on the former Grissom Air Force Base, on the southeast corner of the Grissom Aeroplex, just south of Peru, Indiana, in Miami County. The facility is classified as a medium/high medium security correctional facility, housing a maximum of 3,188 offenders.
