K2 Group is looking to hire an experienced Corporate Recruiter to provide full-lifecycle recruiting support for all positions across the company. Qualified candidates must be professional, personable, and organized.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with individual hiring managers and other corporate entities to identify/anticipate immediate, short-term, and long-term staffing need
- Plan and execute recruiting strategies
- Create job descriptions and manage the posting of job descriptions both internally and through various external sources
- Source candidates through various strategic search techniques to include but not limited to:
- Advertising
- Job boards
- Job fairs
- Networking
- Social Media
- Review resumes and screen candidates to assess their knowledge, skills, and abilities in relation to position requirements
- Work with hiring managers – internal and external to K2 Group – to discuss individual candidates, coordinate interviews, etc.
- Manage employment offer process to include candidate negotiations and offer generation
- Ensure that recruiting processes are carried out in compliance with all appropriate internal and external policies, guidelines, etc.
- Manage recruiting activities, correspondence, and data analysis through an applicant tracking system
- Assist in the development of and changes to employment procedures, policies, and forms
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or a related field
- 4 years of military experience may substitute degree requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in recruiting; preferably in the defense industry, information technology (IT), or otherwise recruiting cleared candidates
- Must have excellent communication skills, both orally and written
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience building relationships with candidates, internal customers, and business partners
- Previous experience with an applicant tracking system (Jobvite is a plus)
- Ability to work independently
- Self-Starter with the ability to multi-task
- Must have the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management
