Primary Responsibilities
Assist Corporate Communications team with various projects including:
  • Content Development:
o Write internal and external blogs and social content for internal and external audience
o Brainstorm & pitch ideas for social media and internal content
o Help manage editorial calendar, weekly newsletters and internal digital content

Events:
o Assist with activities on a variety of Corporate Communications programs and events, including large scale, employee engagement efforts, video production and photography

Research:
o Conduct research as needed on key topics related to the food industry and/or business
o Analyze corporate social channels and research digital trends as needed
o Assist media relations team and compile digital clips

Analytics:
o Help compile analytics for both internal and external social media channels

Requirements:
  • Minimum education requirements – Sophomore or Junior currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, English or related major
  • Familiarity with social media including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of basic visual design principles
  • Must have previous internship experience
  • Strong writing and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented and able to multitask
  • Team player
  • Experience with SharePoint and WordPress a plus
