Cultivates prospects by email, mail, telephone and personal meetings using moves management philosophy. 2. Develops annual goals and implements action plans in assigned areas which maximize fundraising support of Children’s. 3. Works closely with Foundation leadership and other Foundation teams to execute on comprehensive system-wide solicitation program in Corporate Annual Giving areas, encouraging on-going support, and stewarding prospects and donors through the fundraising continuum. 4. Develops and implements strategies for identifying potential prospects and growing donor base. 5. Represents Children’s appropriately at miscellaneous corporate and community functions, networking and nurturing new and existing relationships. 6. Achieve annual revenue and other targets in areas of responsibility while minimizing cost to raise a dollar. 7. Maintains close association and expert knowledge of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. 8. Set expectations, develop plans, and manage processes to provide exceptional donor recognition and stewardship. 9. Maintains up-to-date records on both prospects and donors via Raiser’s Edge. 10. Continually demonstrates “team player” attitude and positive approach. 11. Supports and encourages staff professional development by communicating with peers in other organizations to generate new fundraising ideas. Additionally, by participating in educational programs, professional organizations and development activities to maintain knowledge of national trends and to promote leading edge performance. Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, English, or related field

Demonstrated record of successful relationships working with donors in closing gifts
Proven ability to think and act independently in specific situations and willingness to take accountability for decisions and actions
Excellent team building, communication, customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, strategic planning and evaluations, and financial analysis
Must have sound knowledge of the Atlanta community and the ability to represent Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in a credible, effective manner among friends of the hospital, trustees, parents, and individuals
Ability to prioritize, meet multiple deadlines, and work well under pressure
Demonstrated professional educational enhancement such as through seminars and advanced training
Knowledge of computer fundraising software such as Raiser’s Edge
