Summary:
The Retail Development team are the face of UBD at retail. We are the brand ambassadors partnering with internal Franchise, Category & Retail Marketing teams, as well as external Licensees and Retail partners to deliver best in class retail experiences for our fans. The NAM Retail team:
  • Drive licensing revenue through the commercialization of our exciting brand portfolio.
  • Develop and executing omni-channel retail strategies for retailers in the US and Canada.
  • Provide market insights to our internal UBD partners to inform future go-to market strategies.
  • Partner with Franchise Strategy to understand the prioritization of our key brands.
  • Ensure product development category teams create an assortment to support our retailer needs.
  • Partner with Retail Marketing to activate retailer specific marketing programs (e.g., digital, social, broadcast, experiential and in-store).
  • Present our go-to-market strategies to our Retail partners.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationships with our key retail accounts.
  • Grow our business through the development and expansion of existing or new selling channels.

Responsibilities include:
  • Build and maintain Franchise, Category and Licensee relationships for relevant up to date information on properties, product lines, and sell-in.
  • Assist in the creation of go-to-market presentations (Studio Swings/JBP).
  • Conduct ongoing market trend analysis to influence category and marketing plans.
  • Manage the collection of licensees Amazon ASIN data to create Franchise and Category reporting and support marketing initiatives.
  • Create internal recaps (Newsletter) sharing results, insights, and on-going actions.
  • Create licensee scorecard and report out results, opportunities, and actions to improve results.
  • Build and maintain Amazon brand stores, audit, and provide feedback to improve experience
  • Audit licensee product listings, placement and foundational details needed for optimal selection.
  • Manage the retail selling guide to educate licensees on how to maximize their business.
  • Seek new opportunities to drive business through a competitive shop process.
  • Support DTC vendor set-up, item set up and PO creation.
  • Oversee the day-to-day communication and coordination with the Parks and Resort team.
  • Coordinate the approval/routing of all PO’s, processing, and tracking invoices for payment.
  • Manage and track annual Retail marketing budget across all accounts.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • 2+ years’ experience in a retail or licensing environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Keynote and all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
