WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE OFFER: Jefferson’s Center City Career Development Center within the Office of Academic and Career Success supports health sciences students and alumni from our Center City, Abington, and East Falls campuses as they grow and manage their careers. We maintain a student centered approach by collaborating with a wide array of faculty and students affairs partners to deliver a robust slate of workshops, creating digital content to meet standing and emerging needs, selecting and leveraging technology that supports connections and maintains a human centered perspective of work, and, of course, running individual and small group counseling/advising sessions. PRIMARY FUNCTION: Perform operational and administrative duties as they relate to the office and initiatives including office management, event planning, and employer outreach Support student affairs projects and responsibilities including disability accommodations, conduct, and maintaining student databases. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: OTHER FUNCTIONS AND COMPETENCIES: Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION: LPC – Licensed Professional Counselor designation preferred. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson’s clinical entities or at the University.
