Campus Recreation: Coordinator, Fitness Boise State University invites interested applicants for the position of Coordinator of Rec Sports to become a part of the Campus Recreation team as we build an engaged community that encourages healthy, active people and enhances student success. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Student Recreation Center including Student Staff Supervision, Facility Operations, Facility Scheduling and Event Management, as well as Risk Management and Security. This is a perfect job for you if you: You will have the opportunity to: Oversee the administration and management of Campus Recreation’s Fitness Program. This includes but is not limited to: program development, staff hiring, training, and supervision of student and part-time employees, education delivery to students, staff, and Rec Center members. Major programming responsibilities include group exercise, personal training, special events, and educational workshops for students, staff, and Rec Center members. Entry-level professional with limited or no prior experience to contribute on a project or work team. Incumbent learns to use professional concepts to resolve problems of limited scope and complexity under close supervision while achieving day-to-day objectives. Works on developmental assignments that are initially routine in nature, requiring limited judgment and decision making. This level is typically focused on self development. Requires theoretical knowledge through specific education and training. The breakdown of the position duties: Personal Training Summer Youth Sports Program Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant professional experience. Preferred Qualifications: Salary starts at $40,850 depending on experience.
