As the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program Coordinator, to assist the sites Coordinator of Aide Services and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Hospice Aide teams to ensure Brighton fulfills its mission of providing the best physical, emotional, and spiritual care for patients and patient families.

You will support Brighton's mission by:
- Site Team Support & Development: Serve as an essential member of the Home Team, ensuring Brighton performance expectation and regulatory requirements are supported by supporting leadership as follows:
- Regularly meet with, inform, and confer with Vice President of Aide Services, Regional Directors of Aide Services, and site-level Coordinators of Aide Services as needed to successfully oversee the Mentor program, support site-level Coordinators in their responsibilities (e.g., help train new CNAs, cover Coordinators vacations, support hiring needs, participate in weekend on-call CNA leadership coverage)
- Provide ongoing mentoring and support to Coordinator(s) of Aide Services and CNAs via regular meetings to provide coaching, relay status updates, refine clinical protocols, discuss issues and victories, and monitor key performance indicators
- Stay personally informed about improvements, updates, and changes in the field of hospice care, other clinical services, and general hospice industry; Share information via meetings and in-service trainings with appropriate team members discussing issues, concerns, victories, and key performance indicators (e.g., KPIs: caseloads, training, culture skills pass off, on site evaluations with CAS and DCS)
- Maintain alignment of Coordinator and CNA training tools and resources (e.g., Aide Manual), partnering with Communications Specialists to revise and design when needed
- Mentor Program Companywide: Assist Regional Director of Aide Services to determine mentors on a site level. Work with new mentors to ensure new CNAs are performing at or above Brightons standard including, but not limited to:
- Supporting new coordinators with training questions or help as backup when Regional Directors or site-level Coordinators are not available
- Assisting in setting up Coordinator trainings at the home office
- Partner with Human Resources:
- CNA Development and Performance Excellence: Support Home Team Leadership in developing, implementing, and evaluating performance measures to ensure Mentor Program and CNA performance (e.g., measuring skills aligned with Brighton Standard of Care) are functioning in a way supporting Brightons mission of providing team members personal and professional growth opportunities and ensuring the best care for our patients and their families
- Talent Acquisition Support: Support site-level Coordinators of Aide Services and working with Talent Acquisition Partner to recruit and hire compassionate and skilled Aide Coordinators and CNA team members to ensure staffing sufficient to meet patient census levels and Brighton growth objectives via the following:
- Requisition job postings; Determine needs of sponsored Indeed postings
- Manage candidate workflow
- Screen and interview candidates as needed in areas where additional recruitment support is needed (e.g., conduct first screening interviews and then forward to site-level Coordinators)
- Onboarding & Paycom Support: Back up site-level Coordinators of Aide Services and Mentors in onboarding and training, support new hire checklists and document upload in Paycom when needed and conduct regular audits of CNA information in Paycom HRIS system (e.g., onsite skills pass-offs, expiring licenses, mileage, competencies, providing more focused support in newer locations)
- Best Practices & Compliance Quality Assurance: Partner with Vice President of Aide Services, Home Team Leaders, and site leadership to ensure Brighton is compliant with all CMS and other governing agency regulations and guidelines including, but not limited to:
- Assuring confidentiality of all patients, physicians, staff, and proprietary information
- Partnering with Quality Assurance to ensure clinical documentation (e.g., Devero charting) is accurate and timely for billing; Complete regular and ad-hoc audits of Coordinator and CNA observations, findings, and services for patient visits
