Overview: The Contracts Analyst will be responsible for working with numerous goPuff business teams and other members of the Legal Department to manage the operational requirements of contracts and agreements. This position will review contracts to identify standard and non-standard obligations and ensure that the obligations are cataloged, organized, and fulfilled. The Analyst will also be responsible for identifying inefficiencies in current standard operating procedure, drive improvements, document the new and improved process, and administer the overall program on an ongoing basis. The location of this position will be in the company’s Philadelphia, PA office and will report to the company’s Legal Manager.Responsibilities:

  • Entity management.
    • Assist with corporate governance matters, projects and research. File documents with the secretary of state, request good standing certificates and manage the minute books of each legal entity
    • Track records of officers and directors
  • Business Support
    • File reporting documents with state, local and national government
    • Special projects and ad hoc requests
  • Contract Management System (CMS)
    • Manage the signing process in accordance with the delegation of authority policy
    • Obtain final documents and file appropriately in the CMS
    • Validate, monitor and update contract data
    • Manage and alert business stakeholders of upcoming renewal deadlines
    • Draft extensions, terminations and amendments to agreements
  • General understanding of non-disclosure agreements, vendor agreements, consulting agreements and other legal documents

Qualifications:
  • Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with reviewing commercial contracts as a paralegal/or supporting an attorney
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization
  • A self-starter attitude, combined with the ability to exercise independent judgment and critical thinking
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across the organization’s various departments
  • Experience with AdobePro, CSC Navigator, DocuSign and/or ContractWorks a plus
  • Licensed Notary a plus
  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved program a plus
  • Must be organized and work well within a fast paced, team-oriented environment
