Summary

Are you ready to join the content marketing revolution? PowerPublish is looking for an accomplished Senior Content Editor to be responsible for the creation and editing of digital content for leading brand marketers.

Responsibilities

  • Edit various branded content, including website copy, blog posts, social media posts and assorted other corporate communication items.
  • Ensure all submitted copy is impeccable, in proper formatting and style, optimized for the target audience personas and devoid of grammatical, syntactical and other errors.
  • Ensure structural editing, copy editing and final proof-reading of contents.
  • Ensure all provided content in SEO optimized prior to publication.
  • Curate all digital media content to conform to the organizational style guide and brand book.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across channels.
  • Curate focused content for use in the company's social media accounts across platforms.
  • Keep up to date with evolving trends. Research new approaches to generate content.

Required

  • 3+ years of digital content writing, editing and proofreading experience.
  • Healthcare writing/editing experience is a must.
  • Excellent command of English with immaculate vocabulary and grammar.
  • Excellent writing, editing and engaging storytelling skills.
  • Experience in editing SEO optimized content.
  • Knowledge of major style guides, including AP style and Chicago Manual of Style.
  • Advanced knowledge of WordPress and tools like Grammarly, Hootsuite and SEMrush.
  • Working knowledge of Google analytics and digital advertisement best practices.
  • High level of attention to detail, creativity and a structured approach.
  • Superior time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong inter-personal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Result oriented, motivated, self-starter attitude.
  • Strong personal and work ethics.

  • Previous experience working as a journalist
  • Experience in writing marketing copy
  • An eye for graphic design - experience using Canva, Photoshop, etc.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and social media advertising

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $49,428.00 - $73,402.00 per year
