Provides the initiative and analytical skills needed to support in material coordination, procurement, contract preparation, invoice reviews, records management, and other miscellaneous activities for the Power Delivery Transmission Construction Department.   • Assists with procurement of services and equipment related to projects such as power equipment, materials, tools and construction services. This includes, but is not limited to, preparing requests for quotations, creating requisitions and purchase orders, monitoring/reporting delivery status, and processing invoices.
  • Utilizes AECC’s Enterprise Asset Management Software to review inventory, receive project specific materials, create requisitions and purchase orders, and other misc. items.
  • Assists with the preparation and administration of construction and maintenance contracts, under supervision of Transmission Construction Manager and Construction Engineers
  • Creates Excel spreadsheets and/or Word documents to assist team members with items such as equipment specifications, bid evaluations, tool/equipment tracking, schedules, etc.
  • Assists with records management to ensure that all records are retained in correct network location.
  • Assists with project status monitoring/reporting, including updating schedules and action item lists, soliciting status updates from team members, and preparing materials for project meetings.
  • Attends seminars and workshops on job related subjects as directed.
  • Assists Power Delivery staff in the performance of their duties with technical and other assistance as directed.
  • The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or similar related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Driver’s License
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficient in language and technical writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Project & Power BI Software
  • Experience with construction projects/contracts
