AECOM Hunt is seeking a highly talented Construction Superintendents to join our Hunt Construction group. This position will be supporting exciting commercial construction projects in the Dallas and Austin, TX locations.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Under moderate supervision assists with overall management administration to large scale, complex project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
+ Employee receives moderate to limited supervision working from objectives set by supervisor. Employee organizes and carries out most assignments in accordance with standard practices, instructions, or previous training. Employee handles some unusual situations independently.
+ Interacts with Superintendents to address project questions/issues.
+ May be engaged in hiring subcontractors, monitoring change orders, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, negotiating solutions to major issues raised during construction that cannot be resolved on the job site at the Superintendent level, ordering removal of employees or dismissal of subs.
+ May interface with design team.
+ May work closely with BIM team and use modelling software.
+ Provides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, provides assistance and reporting on all facets of the project to ensure all facets are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.

+ Supervises Environmental Safety and Health Specialists assigned to the same project(s).
+ Performs work, which involves a variety of functions that require a broad range of expertise and excellent communication skills.
+ May be responsible for an ES&H program on a large, specialized, complex project or multiple projects.
Minimum Requirements
+ BA/BS + 4 years of related construction superintendent experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
+ Previous large commercial project experience in our key markets; Higher Education, Sports and Entertainment, Healthcare, Municipal and Mixed-Use Highrise
+ Project experience of $100 million or more
+ Previous project experience on CMA
